This is one of the beautiful region in Nepal where most of the people visit. The people living in Langtang are originally from Tibet, though they introduce themselves as Tamang or Gurung.

The trek to Langtang Ganjala Pass starts from Syabru Bensi and ends at MelamchiPul Bazar. From Syabru Bensi, we will follow the Langtang river to the east until we get to KyanchingGompa. The highest point of Langtang Ganjala Pass Trek is the Ganjala Pass (5,122m) itself. On the very pass of Ganjala, the last few 100m trail is dangerous so we use a rope for safety, though the utmost care is enough. But the rest of the trail is easy and comfortable. Langtang region is also famous for its Gosaikunda Lakes. Besides, the green rhododendron and bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls, and snow-capped Himalayas make the trek one of most diverse treks near Kathmandu. As there are no lodges and no settlements for three days along the way, the group should be well equipped with enough food.

Toward the end of the trip, you will also trek through some beautiful rice terraces and a number of splendid Buddhist monasteries around the delightful villages of TarkeGyang and Sermathang before heading back to Kathmandu.
